Let the WATER Run...

Like a Tap releasing water that quenches the thirsts of many, my goal in life is to be the faucet that releases God's running water and shower it upon the people, communities and nations that He places me in!

I have come to understand that in order to be a tap, I don't have to be made of Gold handles and look shinny as new 24/7...I have come to understand that being a tap, I don't have to be perfect and holier than thou...I have come to understand that being a tap, I don't have to perform miracles for all man to see...nor do I have to look upon man for his approval...

Being a tap...All I need is to be a willing and committed vessel, ready to flow and overflow into the lives of those that God Himself has placed me strategically...and to allow My reservoir to be filled by Him daily...

Young women, this is our time, the time to claim what is ours. We have sat back for too long waiting, wishing, fearing...This is our time to step into a season of laboring and working towards a greater goal. I don't think that we understand just how much influence we (all of us who are privileged enough to be educated) have over our people...every one of us has been given a gift, a tool to use in our journey...what is your gift? How are you using it?

I remember reading about the virtuous  woman (Proverbs 31:10-31) and thinking, 'I want to be like her' ...she is not only intelligent, but she is also a woman who takes care of her people, her family and has faith like a mustard seed! She is confident, a BUSINESS WOMAN who FEARS the power of GOD and does not rely on her beauty to define who she is. This is who we are all destined to be no matter where we are right now...No matter how 'imperfect' we may be...

This first post is dedicated to my sisters...I love you all and let's keep on being Phenomenal Women!
